Greetings from Dorset -

I thought, to start with, that the Net was going to be quite small,
however more Members came up as time progressed. Conditions for me
were quite good - the skip was fairly long, there was a little static,
and a station on 3.549 was splattering quite badly. With all signals
good it was no problem.

Temperature here was +2deg. C., overcast, dry, and very little wind.
We expect a small weather system to track along the English South Coast
today with possibly some light snow, then rain.

Working conditions here: ICOM 706 MkII-G, 110W.PEP into a G5RV.

The signal from the transmitter of Andre HB9GCE - unlike all the
other stations in Europe - was low and unreadable.

Once again I am surprised that Dusan DF1MDX is giving such low
signal reports - as you see from my reports list I always receive
a good signal from him. I just wonder if he has a receiver problem?

Giovanni's signal was still good here - 5/9 - when he switched out
his amplifier.

I wish all the EuroNet Members a Happy New Year - whatever the
problems, crises, and all the other things that beset us. Keep
happy, and keep going!!
